Finally decided to put in a new set of air bags
What is the reason for pulling out the compressor to deflate the bags ?
Is it only a safety issue ?
Is there an easier way ?
Will the bags deflate and try to level if I jack the body up ?

Thanks for any HELP !

If you are replacing the air bags just pull the air suspension fuse to the compressor and punch holes in the air bags once it is jacked up and the shocks are removed. Then give the air bag a counter clockwise turn and they will release from the top mount. Then press down on the air hose connector and pull the hose out. It is a little tight in there so remove the spare tire for added access. The air bags will just fall out. Then just put in the new bags in reverse procedure and replace the shocks and fuse and you should be all set.
