C6 Fan with TVS1900

I have a C6 fan running with a TVS1900 setup. It has problems overheating with the air on. I can hear the fan cutting in and out at stop lights, has anyone had success moving the ground wire for the fan to the alternator bracket? Changing anything in the fan settings on the tune?

I am considering going to the LS1 fans, so anyone who can chime in on the performance on a TVS 1900 truck is appreciated.

Run your fan on a manual switch. Just remember, Truck on Fan on, truck off fan off. Also, run a 160* t-stat
Would a manual switch solve the problem if it is voltage related? I was under the impression the cutting in and out was because it was a weak ground or low voltage. Not because the tune is turning the fan off.
Why is it cutting in and out? Are you having voltage drops?

I need to check for voltage drops, I guess my question was of all the guys I have seen try to relocate the ground for this, did it work? Also has ANYONE had success using a C6 fan to cool a truck with a heat exchanger.
I am still N/A, but I did move my ground over to the alternator bracket about 2-3 months ago. I can't confirm any differences.

I should note that I am no longer running the C6 fan, but am running the C6 controller and the same type of tune in the ECM.

What are your fan settings vs. ECT? Have you tried to go past 90% in that table?
The C6 Fan does not work well when pushed hard because it does not have any shroud. The C6 Fan also has problems when the voltage drops for the battery rundown protection, it will shut off and not come back on till the ignition is cycled. Sell it and get a set of LS1 Fans, that will fix your problem.
ive got the c6 and i dont have any issues. i installed a high low switch for the track thats it.
Everything I read says the 07 is only supposed to have this problem? The fan does not shut off all the way and stay off until the ignition is turned off. It cycles slow to fast, you can hear it at a light. Frustrating because we can't even really know if the fan can do the job because we can't keep it running at an acceptable speed. When it does run it is moving lots of air!
Living in Florida with ls1 fans, 160 stat and running fans at 50% in first cell of hp tuners and 100% in rest I don't go over 210 on hottest days running ac all day.
go with the spal setup from pcm 4 less
Look up the upgraded wire kits that ground to the alternator from some of the vendors on here.
+1 spal fans would fix it completely.
I ordered the LS1 fans today, got the whole setup for a few hundred bucks, worth a shot I guess.
