What about LIQUI MOLY 5.1? Anyone use that here? They sell it at AutoZone. Just wondering since I just did all new stainless lines, new calipers, new rotors, and pads. Thanks

for a street vehicle is fine as any auto parts store sold fluid.

Any brake fluid difference you’ll see is with actual racing fluid that has a higher boiling point, which is unnecessary in this application. E.g. Castro SRF, ATE, wilwood etc.

What about VP Racing 622 brake fluid? It's DOT4 I believe but has a ok impressive boiling point.
Most any autoparts store off the shelf fluid will suffice if it meets the DOT specification called for in the manual.

Where you want a higher boiling fluid is where you're actually boiling the fluid while racing on a track (not drag racing)or using the tbss in autox or aggressive canyon driving. There are little opportunities to heat and boil the fluid in a daily driver....

Now the price difference often for a slightly higher rating in something you keep in the car for 1/2/3 years in the reservoir is nothing if you do the math... So if you want to tell your friend you put race brake fluid in your ride. Go for it.
