Just curious which CAI you guys without FI suggest! LOL... I know to stay away from the K&N but I was looking into the IEATSRT8 CAI. Looks good and I've heard good things about it. What do you guys have and what do you think about them?

I decided to go with the IEATSRT8 CAI and HSRK combo... plus before he sends it to me he's gonna install the new IAT sensor. Chris is a cool guy, he is also including a seal for the area surrounding the tubing when it's leaving the stock airbox. Should help keep that hot air the LS2 makes out of the airbox!

ADM is what I have, I can't really say much about anyone else since I have no experience with them. I like it so far.

For the CAI, seal, and the HSRK, with Chris installing the HSRK for me is $332 shipped. Which I think is really good considering the other CAIs are at least $250 and then another $100 for an HSRK. I think the HSRK by itself is $80 from Chris. You can email him with questions... [email protected]

if i could do it again i would make one. the materials used are pretty universial and the main objective is to increase airflow by taking off the restrictive stock intake. just a thought before you drop a couple benjis on something you can make for under 100.

I have IEATSRT8's as well. I drove around for 6 months with it in the box in the back of the SS, finally put it on after I got my SLP installed and the day before my dyno tune. So far, I really like it!

The ADM comes w/ a 100mm MAF, I believe the others use the stock 80mm one.. I notice many other tuners use ADM's CAI... Prolly for a reason. I believe you will need a tune w/ ADM's to adjust the computer to the bigger MAF.. 100mm MAF means 20% more air volume available.

So what exactly does that mean? Will 8 grams/sec of air register a lower hz reading with the 100mm MAF vs stock.. Will it provide more accuracy.. meaning. The delta in g/sec will read out a lower delta in hz with the 100mm vs 80..
