I am just wondering if anyone is using 265/50/20 tires?

I have noticed that this opens a few more options in tires.

The difference in overall size is less than 1.5% too.

Any input would be great!!!

thanks

In all seriousness, I AM using this size tire in the NT420S from nitto. I wish I had gone to 275/45/20. The 50 series sidewall doesn't corner that great but the wider contact patch does help over stock in a straight line. Overall the Nittos are a great tire, but the 275/45/20 I feel would be a better option, even if you're going to drop the truck down.

I'm running those on the front and haven't had any problems.

I am currently on 265/50/r20 Toyo Proxes ST2's and I like how they fill the wheel well a bit better, but the 50 series side wall is a bit squishy for the corners...on stock wheels anyway...

No problem man. That wasn't directed solely at you. I've seen that question quite a bit in the past few weeks.

To answer your question, yes quite a few people run that size. I run it for my fronts. It opens alot of possibilities up that aren't available in the stock size. FYI that size is a little taller than stock at about 30.4"
