Any one got any tips for installing a new double din head unit? One question I have is how do you get at the stock one to remove it, does the trim piece around the radio pop off like my old Colorado truck did? Just feeling it out probably be installing my new one in the next week or so.

The trim piece includes the whole piece around the instrument cluster over to the headlight switch. It is kind of a pain to have to remove all of it, but once it is off, there are 3 or 4 screws holding radio in.

So how do you remove the whole trim piece is it all just plugged/snapped into place. why can't they just make things easy
