I used my teeth...but it took a long time...Kidding, Dremel works well...but you wont see any gains or lower IAT's...

Thats the idea, but I ran log after log with two seperate headlights and found AERO difference in IAT's or MAP pressure...

if you cut it out and seal the airbox completely then you would only draw the air from outside of the engine bay where it is not hot air. it one of those why not mods

I used a hacksaw blade. used a file to clean it up.

:iamwithstupid: Anything that will help these heat soaked pigs get more, even if the slightest bit of air, will help!!! I cut out both sides but still have to cut out the grill area on the drivers side. I am also currently looking for side vents that can be molded into the body for better ventilation, just have to find the right ones to go with our body style.

If you did this mod and got the "cool air" SS hood, too... I wonder if that would make a difference ?
