Digital display or the analog switches?

I know those knobs are very sensitive and turn really easy, there may be an intermittent short in the control head, I don't think much else could cause that. If you have been digging around in the dash it's possible that the connector is loose and when it jiggles it gets power again turning it on. I would check the connector, and if it looks fine it may be the control head, but I don't know that for sure.

 

Doing some searching ,may be blower motor speed control module but I don't know

 

I have the same issue and it turned out to the the ac belt.

 

It also could be your blower control module going out.

 

You know, I have not checked the TB. but my 2006 silverado did the same thing and if you have it in recirculation mode with the a/c off the compressor will cycle on and off. This is how GM designed it. I will have to check the TB to see if it does the same thing.

 

it is completely off then it just comes on in the auto mode . I think i figured out a pattern if i start the truck up with the ac off it doesnt do it but if the ac is on when i start it then turn the ac off it does it then:dunno:

 

Mine did this exact same thing, couldn't really figure it out. Then my wife had the SS out one day and she called and said it would not turn off even when the truck was off. It ended up being the blower control module, can't say for sure if that is your problem or what some of the others have experienced with the AC belt.:dunno:

 

Mine did that ac turns itself on thing more than a few times. Not sure if it stopped doing that but since we are in summer, it's needed every time I drive anyway.

 

I jinxed myself. Mine did this 4or 5 times the last couple days. Fml haha
