It acts as the entire support for the rear bumper. I took mine off and then put it back on. It is heavy, real heavy!! You just have to use a plasma cutter to cut it all up and yet leave enough support for the rear bumper.
I ended up putting mine back to stock. I was going to put part of the front grill into the area that is filled with the flat plastic and hitch. I still may do it later, just not right now. I have too many other things going on with the TBSS right now.
if i take the whole piece out the rear bumper wont have no support ?? left coast 32 is this a good idea ???? how much would it help in the 1/4 ?? is having no rear bumper support a good idea ??? i know if i get rear ended,,,, and no no perverts not like that.....if someone hits me from behind and no not like that PERVERTS !!!! would it be a good idea?????? lol by not having this would it affect the bumper in any way like start bending and messing up be all crooked and shit ?
