I hung about 4 cars back all the way to 135! Thats was All I was going to push! That is ONE MEAN SOUNDING CAR! He must have rapped it up to 150 cuz he rolled out hard after I let out at 135. Here are 2 more shots! I ended up cathing up about 3 miles down and snapped the shots!

I'm pretty sure it was the real deal! Could be wrong but it didnt look to be flapping in the wind like most kit cars do!

The motor didnt not sound anything like a V8! Sounded like some of the cars I saw run at the Denver Grand Prix. That and he had to have hit over 150 from the way he pulled away after getting out of it.

You guys kill me, not that fast :pointlaugh:

That looks like a 1986 5000 which made a little over 425 hp, 0-60 5.2 sec, 1/4 mile in 12.0 and a top speed of 173 - 190 mph (depending on options). NOW, remember, that was in 1986. In 1986 a Corvette, one of the fastest US made cars of it's era, made 235 hp, could MAYBE do 0-60 in 7 seconds and top out at 140 (with a tail wind). The only other cars that could run with the Countach were the Porsche 930 (turbo) and the Ferrari Testarosa.

Performance is all relative, considering that 24 years have passed and he was still able to pull you says it all.
