Can anyone chirp the tires when the tranny shifts to 2nd gear? Mine has been doing it a lot lately.....:biggrin2:

keep that up you'll be TBSS-Less for a while lol...

mine did it after the servos (both Sonnax billet) with the stock converter.. after my Vig went in it shifts firm but no more "Chirping".. maybe because there's only about a 1200RPM drop from the shifts:cheers1:...

^^ Do you mean internal chirp or tire chirp?

There is a TSB for an internal chirping on a 4L70E, but I don't know anything but it's number...

The real question should be, who can't chirp between 1-2 and 2-3???

Thread was appropriate for time and level of performance across the board. Everyone has come leaps and bounds since then.
I cant even do a burnout, much less a chirp :(

And guys wonder why they break sprags, output shafts, and other hard parts...Then come the threads about "driveline slack"...gee, i wonder what causes that?
