I sold a 2006 TBSS 3ss AWD, that was completly stock other than the rear suspension was conveted to springs. It had 135,000 miles on it with the original engine and trans. It sold in three days for $17,000. It was in perfect condition. I should have asked for more. I think that the stock TBSS sells better than one that has been heavily modified.

Maybe, other pretty modified ones sold on here for 24k+ so I don't understand why there is no interest. I pretty much need this sold today or tomorrow cause there is another car I want to use the money to go purchase. The best offer I had so far locally was 20k so i am waiting to hear back and I will sell it to them if they come through. I probably should have listed it for sale a few months ago, would have sold faster.

I hate to seem like I am wasting your time, but how practical is something like this for a daily driver? 1000 mile trips pulling a 2500lb trailer @ 75 MPH? This is probably NOT the car for me. One of the things we like about our 2006 TBSS w/AWD is it runs like a normal car until you get into when needed. The ability to pull our motorcycle trailer from Ohio to Florida and the ability to pull into our snow covered driveway without getting stuck are the reasons we bought a TBSS. I just don't have a lot of experience with a car that has a built engine like yours. But I am a mechanic and do my own work. I installed a new front differential a couple of years ago when the pinion locked up. I used a locking front differential carrier from Bully Racing, although my stock 6.0 doesn't even come close to needing it. I bet your supercharged 6.7L could put some power to it!

We are looking at replacing our 2006 because it has so much rust in the frame that it can no longer be safely driven, the motor is about to fall out of the car!

You should look into some preventative for the next one. I live in Minnesota and have used Krown products I ordered from Canada , they have salt neutralizer and some stuff similar to fluid film that really stays on but should still be resprayed every year.
