The other day driving to work when i stopped for cross traffic when it was my turn push on gas peddle and nothing just revs high turn suv off and back on and transmission worked for about 10 min then went slipped into neutral.I got towed home next day started up and put in reverse and backed put it into drive and drove forward but when went back to reverse gear nothing just revs high

It needs a a rebuild most likely. You have no choice but to take it to a reputable shop for a diagnostic and look at a reman or rebuilt trans

when i hooked it up to the scan tool got a code for the torque converter.

okay the update is that the transmission pressure switch went bad and was able to adjust the pressure for each gear.

codes p01816, p01815 and p01810 when i dropped the pan i noticed the little round gaskets were cracked and deformed changed out the transmission oil pressure switch and gear are working just fine.

Those are not torque converter codes.
