Ran the 1/8 tonight and ran 2 back to back 8.3's spinning the whole way down the lane. The best 60 ft were the last 2 that were in the 2.03's and the MPH was consistantly in the 82-83.7! Not bad on street tires, spinning the tires and feathering the gas the whole time. It is just a parking lot strip that wasnt preped very good but it was still fun!!!

I ran a total of 6 times and had the best times at 28 PSI of tire pressure.

The videos are not that good but the camera is old.

You can hear that little bitch! Great runs but ya got to tell your friend to attend the local community college for some video shooting 101! Anyways, great runs even if ya were spinning half way down the track. Now for the 1/4 runs, very curious to that top end on there!

Love the sound of the whine! You fired your camera man right. lol

We will have a better camera next time. The last 2 runs were the best and I had already put the camera away.

I flashed a tune into it right before hand and it was learning during the runs. It kept getting faster and faster and the track was getting stickier. The last 2 runs were done with Hot Lapping and the times were almost 5 tenths faster on those runs. We ended it early and headed back, it was being over-run with little cars and motorcycles. The motorcycles take forever compared to the cars.

I really want a set of drag radials now so I can stall it up on the launch. I had to ease into the throttle each time and that really hurt my reaction time and 60 ft. As soon as I would get off the pad it would just start spinning and continue most the whole way through each run. It was also shifting to 3rd right before going through the traps.

I plan to do a set of drag radials and a few runs down the quarter mile here as soon as the temps get a little better. All the tracks around here are at the edge of the desert including QualComm that I ran on Friday night. LACR and California Speedway are a long drive and they are getting real hot right now. I just wish we still had a drag strip here close to the beach.

I guess Carlsbad is no more?

That was with your current mod list? What was your raceweight? I imagine the weather must of been hell eh.

I do agree with the other guy, it seems that during the launch most camera guys freak out and either record the ground or the sky. LOLs

Full Race weight (I didn't do any weight reduction) with a full tank of gas. I have since been dialing in the tune more. I was also spinning way too much and had to feather the throttle most the whole way. It was like racing on glass, I get better traction on the street. Everyone there was telling me that I would run faster with a Bigger Pulley. With Drag Radials I am sure a mid 7 would have been easy. I could not even use the converter and had to ease it off the line which also screwed my reaction times. The Hayabusa Bikes were running 6.5 that night so you know the track is slow.

Sounds like you have a lot left in her. Good luck.
