What exactly are the gear servos.And where did you have them done.

theyre billet trans servos (superhold) i did mine at 1200 miles and i think thats why i havent had any trans issues at all so far.it lowered my time by.1

How much for the parts and labor, and where did you get it done? Somewhere in Charleston? I may have to make another stop on the way to Edisto...:biggrin2:

http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/ this is where i got mine from and i installed them myself with a little help from a tech that works with me the hardest part was getting the clearance correct grinding down the pin.i think i spent $123.00

Then I took it to the guy I get all the royal purple from to install (just didn't have enough time to do it myself) it took him around 2-3 hr I think I left it over the night and it cost $170 for the install. I'm happy w/ it. sixols2 did you do all 3 servos or just the 1-2 and 2-3??

I didnt know there was a 3ed servo, What is it for???

Maximum Overdrive Servo has 50% more holding power than the stock overdrive servo. Talk about your extra firm 3-4 shift, this is it. Good for towing in overdrive

Do you have to pull the tranny to get to the 3ed servo or is like the other two?

I got the vette ones, but havent drove yet. Its going to pcmforless next monday, then I'll let you know. I would call up circle-d and talk to chris about it. He's a good guy to talk to.
