Gone, gone

Sadly, after all these years, many fixes, and many happy rides, my girl has died. Way too expensive to fix the manifold ($5 K estimate). I had just spent $4 K this spring to fix the engine and replace the hood as the latch had rusted through. Replaced the front bearings 3 times. 🤣 the engine light is on because of the manilfold needing replacement. Stabilitrack intermittently comes on, and now the abs light came on too. Engine actually starts, but I’m told it isn’t safe to drive unless I replace the manifold. All the bolts are rusted and have to be carefully removed ( extra cost). I will say that the Pirelli all season tires make for a very sweet, smooth ride and last for about 75 K. That’s great! Never did mods, but loved her. Her leaving me is bitter sweet. As she is now gone, sadly I’ll also be leaving all of you. I have not posted much, but have enjoyed reading others posts. Enjoy your ride! ☺
