The Trailblazer SS has always been a favorite of our staff here at the shop, so when a customer calls wanting to freshen up his from front to back we gladly welcome the opportunity! This particular customer is a local genleman that has driven his TBSS in stock form over 130,000 miles before deciding to wake it up a bit. He wanted to make reliable naturally aspirated power while still maintaining excellent driveability and retaining the stock LS2 bottom end.

Knowing that the valvetrain was the first item to tackle to start building power, we put together a heads/cam package including a set of CNC ported Trickflow 225cc cylinder heads and our VRX4 camshaft. The valvetrain is also supported by a set of CompCams trunions for the rockers, CompCams 850 lifter set, 5/16" hardened pushrods, ARP cylinder head bolts, C5R timing chain, and Melling high-volume oil pump. We also installed a Cold Air Inudctions intake system and ARH 1 7/8" longtube header system to help the truck breathe with the upgraded valvetrain.
