Default Tire Pressure Inaccurate

So my right front shows on dash that I am at 25 PSI.. But when I manually check it with digital gauge it shows 40. I used different pressure gauges to make sure it wasn't my gauge. Do you all think its a bad sensor? Or is there a way to reset it? Any info would be great... It's for 2006 2SS thanks!

And I know 40PSI seems like a lot for what it reads but at my altitude it's needed... Plus the f'ing cold air this place has lol... So time to replace sensor...

Just wanted to comment on this. Couple days ago after filling up gas and pulling out the gas station, my TPMS light came on and CHECK TIRE PRESSURE warning came on the cluster. After switching through the tire pressure readings all were close to 40 except right front said I was at 4 psi! So I quickly pulled over to check the tire and to my confusement it looked fine to me and didn't seem flat enough for 4 psi. So restarted the truck and took off, couple mins later light went off and pressure was now reading 39psi wtf lol.

There was none of these in 06.... SS wasn't a model option, but a package you selected on either,an LS or LT. Hence the LS/SS or LT/SS.
