Default potentially starting a hydro dipping business

as the title states i am considering starting my own hydro dipping service. i am a veteran automotive painter of 18 years and am deciding to branch out some and trying to see if there is a desire for this service by any forum members. for those not familiar with this process and what it entails i would suggest seaching you tube for hydro dipping. if there are any questions or interests please post them.

its alot like having something painted but putting the hydro dip step in the middle. prices will vary due to size of jobs and difficulty of prep. but i am more then happy to work up some quotes.

I bet you can make it a lucrative business as long as you have a good variety of designs and the pricing is fair . good luck chris

Be sure to shop around for different CF patterns, I've seen some that look close to the real thing (when applied right) but most patterns I've seen used don't look like CF even when done right.

one of the things i wondered about this was why are there only a handful of patterns? i mean sure there's wood, carbon fiber and skulls but if you could print your own stuff(customer supplied stuff) then you'd have something serious going. find an industrial application for it and watch the money come in.

dipping is just one more thing i wish i had time to do. i don't even have room to do powder coating at moment. i miss having large shop space.

You can do your own patterns.....there is a shop right here that prints their own film....and there are literally thousands of patterns out there to choose from
