Default What cam/stall set up are you running? Please chime in...

Well I was just curious as to what cam/stall set up you guys are running and if you are happy with them? Please share how/what your set current set up is and how you like it....

I currenly have the TSP 228R cam 228*/228* .588"/.588" 112LSA with a PI 10.5" triple disk 3000 stall. I am extreamly happy with the performance of this cam. It has great all around power and sounds bitchn.

yah i was in a gto on wed night with a vig 3000 that was tuned to have the harhness of lockup killed and on freeway was so annoying in and out of lockup. Owner said before tune was 10x worse. My buddys in the car (one that has a tbss) were all in agreement that it sucked on freeway.

his vig 3000 stall drove looser than my yank ptb3600 and from driveablity standpoint i just wish there was a way to get that lockup softer.

Oh well good luck with your rig. Have you gone to the track with it yet?

Did he have a 9.5" or 10.5"? By the way you describe the loose feeling Im guessing its the 9.5" which are a bit loose. I had my lock-up pressure turned down in my tune and it made a huge difference but now I put the parameters back to stock via EFI Live...

I havent gone to the track with my current set up.. I hope I can get ahold of some better DRs to go to Irwindale... Thanks!

I don't see all the fuss about the lockup especially on the highway its hardly a big deal. Its noticeable with my 3400 but not bad at all. Ask Phildo he's been in my truck and I pointed out the lockup to him. It is more annoying around town at 45-50 locking and unlocking. Maybe its the trans and/or the tune that makes it so bad for others. My cam is funky grind close to what others here have posted its a good neighborhood to be in!

It doesn't bother me.... I guess the PI is not for the weak kneed.. LOL... You could raise your lock up like I did for the city driving. I have mine set at to lock at 55mph.
