"The Build: F-1A ProCharged 427" ...
This build will based off the HOB kit using an F-1A procharger and a Katech sleeved LS2 block with a 4.125 bore... I weighed my options with the iron block LSX and really would prefer to stay with aluminum to keep the weight down and possibly stick it in the new camaro once they release the convertible.... Katech sleeved LS2 block will have a 4.125" bore and 4" stroke running callies and wiseco components... The top end of the motor is still being planned out and I will cross that path when I get there...
I'll keep this thread up to date as things come together...
The Build:
Katech Dry-Sleeved Block (Cleaned up to HKE specs)
Callies Compstar 4" / 24 tooth Crank
Callies Compstar 6.100" Rods W/ ARP 2000 bolts
Wiseco K443F125 / -23cc Pistons
Total Seal Blower Piston Rings
Federal Mogul 3/4 Groove Coated Main Bearings
ACL Rod Bearings / Chamfered Coated Race Bearings
ARP Main Studs
ARP Head Studs
Morel Hydraulic Roller Lifters - Travel Limited
TFS/TEA 235cc Heads all-CNC
Yella Terra Ultra-Lights 1.7
GM MLS Head Gaskets
GM Head Dowels
Manton Custom Pushrods
HKE Custom Cam 22x / 23x / LSL Lobes
ARP Cam Bolts
GM Cam Plate
ARP Cam Retainer Plate Bolts
N-Motion Double Roller Timing Chain
10296 Melling oil pump HV
Edelbrock 2-piece timing cover
Custom Moroso Oil Pan (RPM / Billyman) with Windage tray and pickup tube
Edelbrock ProFlo XT Intake (ported and polished)

Subscribed! I'd think some AFR or Trick Flow 225s would compliment that setup well.

What are you going to use for a trans against a 1000 flywheel hp engine? The 70e ain't gonna cut it in a 5000lb SUV.
