Holy shit, that's insanely fast.
In the second run on the video, he almost got out of the groove. He'd have shaved some time off by staying straight.

THat 12 yr old needs to be in a Jr dragster.... Not on a bike with 400+ HP.
He might be a good racer but how much expierence does he have for tight situations when common sense comes into play?

I HIGHLY doubt it was a 400+ hp bike maybe 200 at most with an air shifter and an arm on it. That bike probably hardly knows the kid is on the back of it. Pro riders have easily gone 9.7X and weighing in at or around 140-170 pounds on a stock busa with straps on the front. what do you think that kid weighs? 110-120?
I've been racing motorcycles since I was 11 on the dragstrip. I wasnt fortunate enough to be running a busa and wasnt turning those kind of times either. But hats off to the kid for having the balls to do it.
Now JBrown I'm not picking on you, just your post caught my attention before the others did.

I admire the kid for his balls and ability but no way in hell would I let one of my kids do that. He got it out of one grove and into another on the big end on the second run. Will he live to be a teen? Nobody's gonna be surprised if he doesn't but I do hope he does.

all i can say is, wow!!! any father who puts that much faith in his son to hold it togather like that has to b proud... true, its very risky & dangerous but just imagine the same kid 10 years from now. mom & dad might just have a pro racer takin care of them at the age of 22 instead of the other way around... id b shittin bricks if that were my son but its better than havin him on the streets gettin into trouble with drugs and whatnot...

My Busa had 207hp and wasnt nearly as fast as that beast, yes it was crazy fast but not an 8+sec bike. Stock the busa is tuned down to 175ish. Add a power commander, BMC drag filter, headers and a tune and poof 200+hp easy. 9.7 realy isnt that fast for the Busa its a 10+ sec bike stock.
