That guy can drive a manual. That makes a big difference...a car is only as fast as you can drive it regardless of mods or HP

Same thing seems to happen at the midwest tracks also... GLD, US41, Byron, Rte66.
Must be an NA thing...
Amazing what a raceweight of 1100lbs less compared to a LIGHTWEIGHT 2WD TBSS can do for performance. Nevermind a full weight TBSS with additional weight on it for a performance mod. That's almost 2100lbs+ more for the TBSS and still making less power.
So, lets see at almost 4500lbs a TBSS with a .4 liter larger engine than an LS3 can run easy high 11's in 1000ft+ DA with 90mph 1/8 and 113mph 1/4 and horrible aero all day long.... yet with a converter that you guys say is not efficient. But, a 3300lb raceweight C6 probably in better weather, more power, better aero and hell of a lot better 60' can't possibly run anywhere near that??
Okay so what should he be running then?

atco allwasy runs good at their track. Guys out here with mods like you guys have are cracking low 13s best while guys out mid east and atco were like mid 12s.
I bet same combo out on our trucks and our weather mid 11s would be best. You guys are just lucky especailly at atco great conditions to race.

In the right DA it doesn't matter....they just have more good DA days. I went to Sac last december and when we started running it was -250 DA. It happens out here but its alot more rare than at ATCO. Baytown,TX is below sea level, but it's too damn hot down there most of the time.
If you end up buying that TBSS from NC...you should make a pit stop in NJ to run it at ATCO
