It's in the new GMPP catalog. It's a 700 HP motor N/A with the right cam. In an AWD you're looking at 560 to the tires...Put all the right internals in and keep the compression at the right spot and you can always throw an Eaton blower on it....

Hmmm, I think my KB 2.6 has just become an expensive paperweight! Joe, I'd be mighty interested in pricing and availability of the 2300. I havn't updated my sig yet but a l92 short block 427 is going in my truck.

I will post up availability and pricing as soon as I get it. We should have an engine on the dyno in the next couple months or so.

Im dong a 438lsx with ported heads or l92 heads and tvs blower. 15-20 psi boost and race gas for me will be norm since i dont drive the truck that much.
438 with heads, cam and the tvs 2300---- 1000 at wheels and prob 900 tq from 2500 up. For the street that would be bad ass.

Time for a 4L80E with that setup Tony.

truck to heavy for glide. 4l80 or turbo400 ill see.
as for tubbing not needed. mt drag rads and rear adjusted hals will be more than enough. And dont need a cage for street racing

Why not have overdrive if you are going to be spending that much anyway?

im just fuggin with ya, your too anal about your truck to put a cage in it...
and I know all about the street racing comment, I got chewed out for a good 10 min at the timeslip barn at the end of the track for not having a cage in mine, even though i didnt break any rules!! I told the old lady, look here, This is an SUV, I had no idea it would run what it did, And you gotta be outta your god damn mind to think im going to put a cage in this truck...

Joe, do you know anything about this front inlet setup..? If so, could it be adapted to a TVS/MP2300 and used it the TBSS..? Im in the begining stages of building a FI motor and would seriously consider the MP2300 as my 1st choice..

I want to start doings some R&D and testing with the MP2300 by the end of the summer. The problem with the MP2300 is finding the other drivetrain parts to handle all that bottom end torque.

There are no plans to make an intake for the LS7 head design. We are only going to do the L92 style.

We will have to see what it takes to handle 900+ Torque in a heavy vehicle. It will make for a pretty expensive build when finished that is for sure. Just think about the fuel system that is required to support 1000+ Forced Induction HP.

I really think the 4L80e can handle it, as they come in the big GM trucks (very heavy), as well as behind high horse big blocks.
Richard at West Coast could help you if need more resources.

I guess I'm a little late posting this, but Kenne Bell also has an upgrade kit for the GT-500 that makes a claimed 801 hp.
http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...lby/Shelby.htm
The 801 is on race gas @23 psi, but at 20.5 psi it still makes 764hp
