I got to totally destroy a 5.0 Mustang yesterday. Even when I knew I had him I kept in it. Wanted to shut him up.

A kid in QA has it, I'm curious to see what he says on Monday

Just finished putting my tranny cooler in.

I also got a blue tooth OBD adapter to run the Torque app on an old tablet I have. Connected pretty easily. Now I need to decide what readouts I want on the app and if I want to mount the tablet somehow and keep it in the car.

Looks like it'll work for Apple too? Is there any way to be 100% sure it'll work with my iPhone or iPad?

See if the Torque app is available for the iphone.

If it is then it's just a blue tooth connection to the obd device.

Here is a pic of the Torque app on that old tablet I had.

I picked up this mount today at Best Buy for $25.

Scosche MagicMount window Universal Car Windshield Mount Black MAGWDM - Best Buy

I have $25 in the tablet (garage sale) $5 in the Torque app, and $25 in the mount.

There are a lot of different readouts to chose from in Torque. Nice app for $5

Ironically that is exactly what I did. Once I took off the other aftermarket badges I decided ONLY the stock SS badges looked far better. Only exception I have is the small SS on my front grill (only 1" tall)

Hey, change of subject. I am thinking of blacking out my chrome ducts in the front bumper but don't want to do it permanently. Has anyone tried vinyl wrapping their intakes? any success? Something similar to this product:

@MADMAX I think you can plasti coat them and it'll peel off when you're ready to remove, however I have never used it so I'm not sure how good it works

+1. I went the plastidip, spraycan, route. Taped it off, sprayed 4-5 light coats, untaped. Same to my wheels bowtie and SS's.

Holds up pretty well and touches up easy too. When you want to go back, just peel off.
