I have had a cell phone since 91, I can't remember much farther back than that. I think it was $195.00 a month for 300 minutes.

Nope, that was mounted in the car. I got a bag phone in 92, and the Brick in 93. I think the phone was $500. but it had 5 watts, so was the bag, and the brick had 2 watts and lasted about 10 minutes talk time.
