Yeah, what kinda advice? I have a manual cutout, and it's worth about a tenth and 1 mph in the 1/4 when open over the stock exhaust.

I like the sound of mine... not electric though... I've heard to go somewhere else besides QTP. I've heard they rattle apart, one guy on one of the other forums a while back said he had to rebuild his with loctite. Manuals aren't that bad to tighten and loosen, I would only go to electric if I had dual cut outs...

advice i mean...best place to get one if not QTP? looking for electric, however, i heard it was labor intensive to get the QTP to fit on the SS....also i was looking for whether or not people with the mod think its worth it?

or should i just save the money and put it towards a cat-back?

Id say put 2 cutouts where the cats are...

that way you dont have to deal with the shitty flow through our stock y's

Check LS1 tech, I know there is anothe company doing electric cutouts that gets the nod over there, can't remember the name though.
I've got a QTP on my TA its OK, no problems yet, but from what I have heard its only a matter of time.

JawzSS - is this a daily drive? If so, I wouldn't recommend keeping anything electric exposed to the dirt, grime and moisture of the daily grind.
