I'm sure those #'s are from an engine dyno, not rwhp.. -25% and you have 548 rwhp & 600tq.. Still impressive!

yup engine dyno. with the 2300 unit and 12psi boost should be well over 800 at wheels.

He's already got 'a few more mods and a little extra cid'
# Displacement now 6.6L
# Another "prototype" Eaton TVS R1900 blower, this time with a front-inlet
# Magnuson lower intake/custom upper intake designed by Matt to accommodate new blower and intercooler core
# Initial Dyno results: 730hp/800+ lb/ft of torque@ 8.5lbs of boost (using stock exhaust manifolds on the dyno)
OLD SETUP
# Lingenfelter ported LQ4 heads (74cc) with Eaton light weight valves.
# Comp cam XR265HR
# Stock throttlebody
# Dytnatech headers with Corsa exhaust
# 4.10 gears Eaton E-locker in the front, Eaton Limited-Slip in the rear
# Transmission: Mega Raptor from PATC 4L60E
# 60-foots in 1.5 - 1.6 seconds!
# Passes made on 94 octane pump gas!
TVS does look promising.
Does sometime next year mean January-ish or December-ish???

Probably be doing an early release around the second-third quarter of '08 if all goes well.
The TVS is capable of alot more when the boost is cranked up to say 14-16psi. Figure in another 20-30 or so HP per pound of boost over 8.5 from this test.

LOOKS like the r2300 is going to be the way to go on our trucks
http://www.eaton.com/EatonCom/ProductsServices/PerformanceProducts/Products/Superchargers/TVS/index.htm
rated for 4.3 to 7.8L engines
The r1900 is good for up to 6.6L motors
ANG GET THIS GUYS DIRECT FROM FORD AND ROUSH RACING
"Roush and FRP will be releasing a TVS R2300 upgrade for the GT500
within
30 Days
As for the need for a larger unit , the TVS exceeds the performance
maps
of anything KB produces today
That why Roush and Ford Racing have utilized the TVS
Also no hood change is needed and the TVS fits
Regards"

The TVS 1900 will be a direct bolt on replacement for the 112 but the 2300 will require all new manifold castings so the 1900 will be first, also the 6.0-6.2 with the new large port heads Radix style will be one of the first in a kit form. The IFD jack shaft style will follow, it is being worked on. There is a lot of work here and I would think towards the end of the year is more realistic and due to some changes in high priority EO contracts some of these projects are more behind then we would like, Sorry!"
oh and
"I don't know were you get your close information but I work for Magna Charger and the TVS does have a Carb # and we are working on the 1900 inlet forward design with the jack shaft as we speak and it will be a direct bolt on for the SSR, GTO, Corvette, TBSS, CTSV as a Smog Legal upgrade using your existing manifolds or as a whole new kit. All our blowers, MP112, MP112HH, MP122HH and the TVS 1900 Have EO numers up to 2007 at this time on the above listed vehicles. So much for internet BS

Toyota takes priority over us :(

I guess they can make more money from the OE's than us (duh).

The TVS1900 should be good to about 900 at the crank when the boost is turned up.
if we were going to make the stock engine a little stronger for this stuff ehat are the weak links internally in the motor? i do no want to tear into it too much!!

The 2300 will be too big for most anything on the street at this time. The 1900 will be the perfect supercharger for ever a stroker.
You can start with a 112, 112HH or 122HH. These are all great Superchargers. Feel free to give me a call.

I think I will get the r1900 TVS when it comes out next year. In the meantime I may build a semi-budget 402 LS2 based shortblock with a compression ratio that will allow me to take advantage of the high boost efficiency of the TVS blower.
Now here is my question. If I was to build a 9.5:1 shortblock and use mildly worked L92s (stock valves) on top (assuming there is a base available for the TVS for use on escalades) how much boost do you think I could safely run on 91 octane? Also at which point would the heat from extra boost start costing me more than it makes up for with the drop in compression ratio? The motor would also get a mild blower cam but nothing too big because it has to pass the California sniffer test.
Just brainstorming for now, but after I put 50K or so on the TBSS and have it paid off I think I might like the big blower AWD combo with a built trans....just has to run on California pump gas since I would actually be driving it frequently on the street.

Stay tuned as mine will be running some high boost numbers here real soon with the L92 heads.

I'll be watching. How big is your motor? I remember that you did the internals but is it still stock stroke? I assume Maggie has a base that will work with L92 heads coming then?

Mine is built with the stock stroke, forged rods and forged pistons at .010 overbore which makes it about a 370 ci.
The L92 lower intake should be ready for sale in the next few months no problem.

Sounds great. Can't wait to see what you can do with that combo. I figure that I'll throw a stroker crank in when I do mine since I will be building it with another block (maybe an LSx)

Short answer is nothing.
Long answer is to fully optimize the blower and it's potential more displacement and or lower compression would be helpful but not absolutely necessary.
As for truck mods you need a stronger trans for sure.
