Answer: A lot!
I was flashing my PCM this morning, and did a scan before even starting the engine, IAT read 95º. Well, since my garage temperature was 88º and the truck was cold iron overnight, I pulled out the thermocouple. After verifying the garage temp was the same as the AC display said, I touched the engine block. It was 90º after sitting overnight. The MAF sensor housing was...you guessed it: 95º. Just from sitting with the key on engine off and cold, the MAF Sensor heated over 5º
At least I know the stock IAT really IS accurate. I don't think I'll get it any better than it is now and I am not about to screw things up with a relocated sensor lying to the engine about real intake temps.
Just thought this would be a tidbit of useful information to those who care...
