So I was going to order a set of HID's for my ride, until I was helping my buddy install his on his duramax. The kit required him to cut a 21 MM hole where the bulb went it. Is this the same process on our truck? Or do the lights tab right in with the stock tabs? Please clarify this for me.

The kit for are trucks is plug and play. You just have to cut a slit in the rubber grommet to run the wires that plug into the ballast. The bulbs are 9006 and plug right in.

What year is your friends truck??? I've done plenty on older ones, but the 2008 models do need to be modified. Ours are all plug and play...However, if you do get lows and fogs, the fogs are a pretty tight fit. They work just gota move them around until you get them in.
I can sell you the HID's if you haven't already bought them?? If you did, what kind did you get and how much?? Just curious...

If you get the fogs, just back out the 4 screws a lil bit and then the bulb should be able to twist and lock into place. Then just tighten the screws back down.
