Default 9.5 14 bolt diff options

Well like it says just wanna give you guys options when you would like to upgrade the diff in your truck.
Diff is the same 9.5 they have used in 3/4 ton trucks since 1981.
Axle Shaft dia-spline 1.37 33 spline
Eaton options:
Detroit locker part# 225C135a
Detroit TrueTrac part# 914a538 (Eaton recommends this for street/strip upgrade for the lsd diff we currently have)
Eaton Posi part# 19590-010 (what we have stock)
Eaton E-Locker part# 19684-010

Auburn diff lsd part# 542087 (not a pro series diff and wouldnt be a good pick for a upgrade)

Arb Air Locker part# RD40 (Not a personal fav but the option is always there)

American Axle Manufacturing is working on some upgrdes to the 9.5 14bolt. I dont know what they are working on or what the upgrades are but they are using it in there H3 truck they are using in a off-road series.

Enjoy

Well I have been working on that for the last couple of days. I have been told that it is a 7.25 and the only thing they for those is a Powertrax Lock-Right Locker.
http://www.powertrax.com/lockright.html

If someone could check the tag on the Front diff and give me the numbers I will double check and make sure it is the 7.25. It kind of sucks that no one makes a lsd for the front.

I think the E's are only in the hummer and are electrically locked (like air lockers only electric)

LOL, why not, not worried about MPG, would make it launch a lot harder even without a new torque converter!

LOL.............
Oh I hope you dont dd this.
Anyways I would get Master Install kit. I know the bearings you have only have so many miles but it is just cheap insurance. USE TIMKEN BEARINGS!!! You will also need to tune for gears.
